Your invitation for connecting to our Zoom Sessions can be found at the start of each week in the course. To make the most of these sessions, you will want to connect via your computer or smart phone over the internet. Be sure that you have a working microphone and speakers; a camera on the computer will allow us to see you—a definite bonus!
You can check out Zoom before our first discussion by clicking on this link: Zoom Meeting Test. It will take you to a test connection and give you the option of downloading the needed app to run the program (recommended). If you are able to connect to this “meeting”, then you should be all set for ours.
When you join a Zoom session, you will be asked to choose whether to connect your audio with your computer/smart phone microphone or by calling in separately. It is easiest to select connect by computer audio.
You will be assisted as needed, in learning how to open your video and to mute and unmute.
Send me a message in our chat message on Podia with any questions or to my email.
It is helpful to prepare a quiet environment for our virtual classrooms. So that you are ready, with a notebook, a comfortable seat, and an open mind.
